It's almost September yet, the game is stuck on 3 Meld per canister. In my new (second) game, I am still getting 3 Meld per canister. Can in-game events cause the aliens to lose resources, e.g. ISSUE 1 - MELD In my first game, by June or July I was getting 9 Meld per canister. My understanding is that meld-per-container reflects the current level of alien resources, so presumably this means the aliens have lost resources somehow. ![]() After a successful mission, it dropped again to 10 per canister. When I returned to risking meld collection, I was only getting 11 per canister. Does she have a right to yell at me, or is the lecture baseless 1. Then I ignored meld canisters for a while since I already had ~650 meld in storage, and because I was being extra cautious due to the sudden appearance of berserkers and sectoid commanders. Does this apply to Long War I know lots of times I've gotten the meld, had an alien miss my soldier behind it, seen the canister detonate, and been yelled at by Vahlen. Sometime around early August (maybe late July), the meld per canister went from 14 to 17, which I assume is pretty normal for this stage of the game. I am in my first play through of Long War (15b, Normal, Commander's Choice, Hidden Potential) and I am up to late August in the first year. ![]()
